Man of dreams

We all have dreams in our lives. Some people try to find the true meaning in their lives and follow their gut feeling even though the  whole world seems to be kicking them backwards. And others just go with the flow. But as a child were you curious and thought about making changes to the causes around you. When you were a child the thoughts would wander around having cookies, playing games with friends and finish the homework before you sleep. That’s because our parents used to take care of everything. But  what would have happened if you witnessed the death of animals due to floods and decided to act upon it. Well Jadav Payeng just did that.

He knew the absence of tree cover caused all this calamity. The sole  aim of Jadav was to make the planet greener. Thus he tried seeking the help of village elders, but they just laughed and avoided him. Upon trying to contact the forest department officials mocked him, saying to plant the trees himself ( but he took it serious and actually started planting trees). For three decades he continued to plant saplings.

Jadav Payeng

Payeng found a riverine island on the banks of Brahmaputra and began to plant saplings. But watering the plants was an issue as the area proved to be vast for one individual. So he came up with a plan, to build a bamboo platform on the top of each sapling and placed an earthen pot with small holes in it. The water would slowly drip on the plants and needed to be refilled only after one week.In 1980 payeng started helping in the society of Golghat district, which involved tree plantation on 200 hectares. It was a 5 year project  and even after the completion of the project he chose to stay back and continue to plant trees in an effort to transform the area into a forest. He lives with a family in a small hut in the forest. He has won numerous awards and is known as the forest man of India.
Presently it has grown into 1360 acres of jungle called Molai forest. And now its  home to Bengal tigers, Indian rhinoceros ,apes and several varieties of birds etc.

Payeng is a simple human being who had dreams and worked hard to accomplish it. We all have dreams
But the question remains, is  How much effort are you willing to take to achieve it???

Abraham Maslow once said In any given moment  we have two options: To step forward into growth or step back  into safety. Well, Jadav chose to step forward. Will you?

Thoughts

Frame your thoughts

In my previous post I wrote about having a positive mind - a state where an individual who wants to make a positive change is distinguished from a person who doesn't want to make that change in life. At some point in our lives, all of us remain baffled with what we ought to do - hilarious it may seem, people don't even care about what destiny or fate has in store for them.
Framing your own thoughts is necessary because it is we who live our lives for ourselves!

freedom, confidence ,free, peace, thoughts, trust , self belief
Trust yourself

Our thoughts are like a jigsaw puzzle, when scattered we tend to be in a vast sea thinking about which direction to swim to. The beauty of a jigsaw puzzle is when you combine all the scattered pieces, a complete picture is framed. Our thoughts are complete when the fragments of thoughts of our mind are put together. Once you have set the thought of executing a goal no matter what obstacles you might have to face, imagine the experience you could be in that moment of achievement.

So trust yourself and keep moving forward even if it doesn’t make sense to anyone else.

Rubik Cube

Life is a Game. Really?

Life is a Rubix Cube. It's in our own hands to tackle life and to get things done. At times we fail and at times it takes more time when compared to others, but never get frustrated or irritated if you are lagging behind. Remember, you are unique in your own way and people always tend to compare themselves with others - this infact puts them down. This is the hard truth of life. The colours of the Rubix depicts various aspects of our life, it depicts various experiences we might face. The colour red implies, "you have to work hard, life isn't going anywhere". White on the other hand stands for, "keep calm - things will be done without much delay". "You will be happy and contented with life", that's what Yellow stands for. Green is ultimate, it goes on to say that "you are in the right path".
Friends, it's all about the way you think. Once you start thinking positively, everything will fall in place and nothing can stop you from doing what you love. Failure is a part of life, well there are a few lucky ones who might get it done in the first go, but it helps to shed the light on areas you have to gain perfection .

Stay Positive
If you look at history, you'll get to know that Lincoln failed in business, he had a nervous breakdown and was defeated 8 times in elections before he became the President of the United States. The kind of pressure he was in at the time didn't stop him from doing or becoming what he wanted the most. Did he back out? No, he didn't. He fought and he became the 16th President of the United States. You will always have to make choices, at times it will pay off and at times it won't.

Love your Life
Love your lives guys! I know it's easy to write stuff or to advice people on all of this, but it definitely helps. Do not break your head thinking too much of what the future has in store for you. Live life for today - think positive - and remember what has to happen, will happen, whether you like it or not. Always have a clear cut goal in life.
Do your karma, don’t measure or think of the results you are going to attain. Find happiness in completion of work rather than its result.

Guys, follow your heart, take your time, but make the right choices and when you do, never regret!

Guru

Pranam to my Guru

I have failed many times
Lost my path
I was confused about my decisions
Life has never been better for me
And I know it wouldn’t be perfect for anyone
But there was one whom I lovingly call ‘Guru’
To guide me, to shed unconditional love
To tell me it’s okay to fail
To teach me how to be modest
To entrust me and above all he took me to the path of wisdom
What he taught me is to never doubt oneself
And to be mindful of the hindrances you would have to face in this journey of life.
My pranam to all the teachers…

Decisions in Life

Right or Wrong

We all are confused about what is right or wrong for us. The time when we are supposed to take an important decision don’t you get confused thinking is this the right thing to do. I bet you do. Why are our thoughts getting entangled and end up regretting about making the wrong choices? What could be the prime reason behind? Is it your parents, friends or colleagues? The answer is a big NO.I believe that we are bound to this universe in mysterious ways and all this is connected to each other. Many people often get shattered over these wrong choices, there is nothing like RIGHT OR WRONG.

I say there is only learning’s. Why so? each and every step we take induces new perspective in our life which we never endured. Yeah, we do lose our confidence and hope thinking why it happens to me?

Never give up in your life. God will never put you in a situation that you can’t handle…
